Description

Yay~ I made a meme~
Mine completed: [link]

[[edit 7/29@7:13: I had 2 spelling mistakes [seperate instead of separate]. I fixed that, but if you downloaded the version prior to this update, you'll still have the mistakes. Sorry :) ]]

There are many many memes here, but none geared at the gender-fluid/transgenders/cross-dressers

This isn't a remake of the man-self / woman-self memes! Those are not identity memes, they're just fun "what if you were a guy/girl" memes :) This is geared towards the transgendered community.

(if you're a transgender, but not a gender-fluid, when you load it, just cross out 'gender-fluid' and write the correct name. It's 'gender-fluid' because that's what I identify as ;) )

So here's a simple meme to introduce both of your gender-selves

There's also no tagging listed on there because I hate having to find people to tag, since I know hardly anyone I tag will do it. So instead, at the end, you do a lil dance.

You can still tag people if you though :D

If you fill it out, link to it in a comment so I can see it! :giggle:

As a genderfluid person, I honestly find this template very limiting, extremely inaccurate, and in some ways rather discriminatory and -phobic.

First, why does it matter what your AGAB is?

Second, genderfluid is not limited to two alternate selves, man and woman. That's much closer to bigender, and even then, bigender does not specify man and woman. This tries to cram genderfluid into binary boxes that simply don't exist for many genderfluid people. Genderfluidity isn't a switch between the two options in the binary conceptualization of gender, but rather an umbrella term referring to anyone whose gender changes over time. Genderfluid people may experience one, both, or neither of masculinity and femininity and may also experience genders outside of this binary conceptualization of gender.

Third, even among those who switch between man and woman, there isn't an "original" and an "alternate." Both are valid and equally original. The terminology is frankly very strange here, using "original" to refer to AGAB and "alternate" to refer to the singular non-AGAB. Besides, there are many genderfluid people who never experience their AGAB.

Fourth, why are genderfluid and pass in quotations?

Fifth, why would you ask if you prefer one gender over another? That's like asking "oh you're a poet and a computer scientist? Which do you prefer being?"

Genderfluid people aren't different people when they are. Yes, you may use different names and pronouns, present differently, and have different interests/personalities depending on your gender, but that doesn't make you a different person.
